The person that came up with that TV commercial was a genius. It amazes me how easy it is to mess things up, and how hard it is to get everything right. Really, don’t you just wish you had a magic switch that reminded you when you needed to do something, put in all the right passwords, and kept your mouth shut when necessary? It would be so nice.
Honestly, if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all. It amazes me how easy it is for things to go wrong. Murphy’s law sounds funny, but it’s so true that anything that can go wrong will. I’m usually the one to count my blessings, but if I could just know all the things I’ve missed before I missed them, I would really appreciate it. Yes, I have a calendar, but it’s so full I can’t make heads or tails of it. As much as I would like a handsome male secretary, I can’t afford one. Late fees are the devil. Nobody who ever owed me money paid me a late fee, so why do I have to pay them to everybody I owe? Does the IRS and Medicaid pay interest on the money they take out of every paycheck? I think not. And speaking of paychecks, how come they only last until three days before the next payday (or less)? If only I didn’t need to sleep. I could get everything I need to get done and my house would be spotless.
I need an EASY button. It can tell me what to do as long as it saves me from making mistakes and missing deadlines. It can’t let me find out something 24 hours too late. If anybody invents such a thing, let me know. Put it on Facebook where I’ll be sure to see it before everybody else buys them first. Thanks!
