A Place Called Grace

This is my first fiction novel, but it asks a question as old as mankind. Where is God Almighty when terrible things happen?

Several related questions follow. Why does He allow so much evil? How can He watch children be abused and their parents kill themselves with drugs or alcohol? Where is the hand of God in tragedy?

The God of all creation, who owns the cattle on 10,000 hills, the God who is everywhere and all powerful could stop every heartbreaking situation on Earth, but He doesn’t. So what is the purpose? When a decent man is falsely accused, when an incompetent person with power ruins lives, when a child is tortured and starved it seems that God is ignoring so much wrong. How can He watch it and not fix it?

I guess that’s why we live as long as we do. The older I get, the more I see God working ALL things for the good of those who love him. Sometimes He reaches down and intervenes, but other times he uses His people. Often he makes us wait too long, but He always has a master plan. We won’t always understand because in this world we have so much trouble. But cheer up! He has overcome the world. He loves us more than we can imagine. He made a way for us to spend eternity with Him in a place where there is no sin, pain or tears. All the pain isn’t gone at the end of this story, but you can be sure that God is working your story to bring people to Him.
